There’s no better way to help policymakers recognize the value of arts education than by inviting them to experience the creativity, innovation and joy that happen in a classroom firsthand.

That’s why the California Alliance for Arts Education has launched Arts Learning in Action, a step-by-step online guide for planning a visit for an elected official to a classroom in your community. The guide offers everything from a sample invitation letter to suggestions about day-of-the-event logistics.

Use it to plan a visit for your local school board, mayor, city council, county board of education and county supervisors. Demonstrate the power of Arts Learning in Action to our elected officials!
